報告摘要：

Information security is one of the important domains of information systems research today, with Protection Motivation Theory (PMT) as one of its most influential theoretical lenses. However, empirical findings based on PMT are often inconsistent and inconclusive. To reconcile these inconsistent findings, we conducted a meta-analysis to investigate the relationships among PMT constructs, while also considering additional contextual constructs that are not specified in PMT. Ninety two published studies were meta-analyzed and estimated using structural equation modeling. Our results confirmed three of the five predictors of security motivation intention, as postulated by PMT, mixed support for perceived vulnerability, and no support for response cost. We found coping appraisal variables of response efficacy and self-efficacy to have the largest average effects on security behavior. Our results contribute to the information security literature by providing guidance for future PMT-related research, and by demonstrating how meta-analysis and structural equation modeling can be combined to test theories in information systems research.

信息安全是當(dāng)今信息系統(tǒng)研究的重要領(lǐng)域之一，保護(hù)動機(jī)理論(PMT)是其最具影響力的理論視角之一。然而，基于PMT的實證研究結(jié)果往往是不一致或者有爭議的。為了探討不一致的先行的研究結(jié)果，我們進(jìn)行了meta分析，通過研究PMT構(gòu)念之間的關(guān)系，同時也考慮了PMT中沒有具體闡明的調(diào)節(jié)變量。通過對92篇已發(fā)表的研究進(jìn)行了元分析。我們的結(jié)果證實了PMT假設(shè)的安全動機(jī)意圖的三個預(yù)測因子，感知脆弱性的混合支持和響應(yīng)成本的不支持。研究發(fā)現(xiàn)，反應(yīng)效能和自我效能的應(yīng)對評價變量對安全行為的平均影響最大。我們的研究結(jié)果有助于信息安全相關(guān)的研究，為未來PMT相關(guān)研究提供指導(dǎo)，并展示了如何結(jié)合元分析和結(jié)構(gòu)方程模型來檢驗信息系統(tǒng)研究中的理論。

報告人簡介：

牟健 現(xiàn)為韓國國立釜山大學(xué)商學(xué)院副院長，博士生導(dǎo)師。畢業(yè)于南非金山大學(xué),獲得信息系統(tǒng)博士學(xué)位。曾在韓國成均館大學(xué)，加拿大渥太華大學(xué)從事博士后科研工作。于2017年為伊利諾伊大學(xué)芝加哥分校的訪問學(xué)者。其主要研究方法為元分析 (meta-analysis), 主要包含的研究領(lǐng)域為互聯(lián)網(wǎng)用戶行為研究，電子商務(wù)研究，社交媒體，電子醫(yī)療健康研究，人機(jī)交互行為研究，以及信息系統(tǒng)外包相關(guān)的研究。牟健曾就職于跨境電商企業(yè)敦煌網(wǎng)，任資深用戶研究工程師。

牟健教授利用元分析方法進(jìn)行的科研成果已經(jīng)發(fā)表到了信息系統(tǒng)領(lǐng)域的知名期刊JAIS，以及優(yōu)秀SSCI期刊TFSC,和ECR中。并在國內(nèi)外幾十所知名高校中進(jìn)行了元分析方法培訓(xùn)宣講。

牟健教授目前為國際SSCI期刊Internet Research, Electronic Commerce Research, Journal of Electronic Commerce Research, Behaviour and Information Technology副主編，SSCI期刊Information Technology and People高級編輯，以及SSCI 期刊Electronic Markets, Journal of Global Information Technology Management，Journal of Organizational and End User Computing和Information Technology for Development的客座編輯，并參與主持多個國際信息系統(tǒng)和電子商務(wù)領(lǐng)域的學(xué)術(shù)會議。其共發(fā)表SSCI/SCIE等國際期刊論文50余篇，主要包括：Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Information and Management, Information Processing and Management, Computers in Human Behavior, International Journal of Information Management, Internet Research, Information Technology and People, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, Electronic Commerce Research以及ICIS,ECIS,PACIS,AMCIS,和 CSWIM等會議論文。
